When veteran actress Tonea Stewart was just five years old, she made a promise to her great-grandfather Papa Dallas that when she grew up she would tell his story. Today, the award-winning actress, educator and motivational speaker is still keeping her childhood promise and sharing her great-grandfather’s touching story with thousands across the country.

Laughter, inspiration, fellowship and information were the order of the day at the 2007 Health Ministry Empowerment Tour stops in Hopkins, Denmark and Spartanburg.

Rev. Ben J. McCollum was left partially blind in one eye due to diabetes. And even when he underwent an amputation, he did not let that keep him from reaching his goals.

 Ivy and Robert Davis were devastated by the loss of their 29 year-old daughter Eboni.  While their sorrow at times was unbearable, the close-knit family found a way to survive their grief.
